St.Martin T2

Date: 2020, Area: 410 sq.ft., Category: Residential

In this design, we used the calm light blue of the ocean with white, and the black metal with wood grain to set off a residential space with a Mediterranean resort feel.

This unit originally had a display cabinet and revolving dining table in the public space, but its design was not convenient and practical. So we demolish it made a new a multifunctional full height cabinet.

In addition to the function of storage and display on the left, this cabinet can also be used as a dining table.

This hidden dining table also has a movable low cabinet for matching. Usually, it can be used as an extra platform in the kitchen or on the sofa as a coffee table. When the dining table is to be used, align the movable low cabinet with the reserved hole as the foot of the dining table. For the details of the dining table, we use the hinge of the door to support the weight of the dining table, and there is a lock next to the cabinet to increase security.

Extending from the multifunctional full height cabinet to the TV cabinet in the living room, the visual effect is extended with a consistent light blue colour, and there are wood grain lattice strips in the middle to gently distinguish the space area.

The casual atmosphere extends further into the master bedroom. The headboard is clad in navy blue fabric, creating a resort-like sleeping area, while a cabinet above the bed accommodates the occupants' storage needs.
